Day 37 - Mao Zedong, Rockies, and Arrow

Read a lot about Mao Zedong today for my Politics of China class.  According to some propaganda he swam 9 miles in the Yangtze River in about 65 minutes breaking all previous world records in swimming.  All this was to prove he was in "robust" health.  Wow that kind of stuff tickles me. Next up Deng Xiaoping.  I need to learn some Chinese.

We also had a productive conference call with the other "Rockies" tonight.  Always enjoy time with them.

Tomorrow my son turns nine and it seems like just yesterday that he was born. My how time flies.  So grateful to God for his life and his spirit.  My little "arrow" makes me smile every day.  What a great son he is. His smile is infectious and his jokes are corny.  Don't know how I'd ever live without him. He makes his Daddy so proud.  Ready to see what his next year holds.
